Gee! 😀 You actually did it. Thank you so much!!!! ❤❤❤ So very glad you liked it! I am absolutely in awe of their big Fantasy themed videos, but I think this one was yet a step above the rest. It was done for the 40th anniversary of the largest German D&D-like RPG „The dark Eye“. (It was also the first time they did hire a complete camera crew instead of doing the filming themselves because of the scale of the project) They had to do the filming for this video in 4 days due to scheduling reasons. This is why most of it was shot after dark, as it was in winter, when daylight hours are considerably less than night hours over here. (Which I think is a pity - I would have loved to see more of those orcs). Thank you again, and have a nice weekend. 😊

The Director's cut is a movie 😯 - It's basically the video with additional footage, a symphonic soundtrack and a German narrator. And it was so, so good. I think it was said that they are about to release an English version of that, too. If that's out, I'll let you know.

It took them four days to film. Saltatio Mortis are fans of the German pen and paper role-playing game The Black Eye. The box set also includes a novel that contains the content of the video and a solo adventure in the role-playing game with the background story of the video.
