SMM will be one I order much more in 2024. I kept saying RTS by mistake. It's a preorder with ~8 week turnaround time. Her list looks fantastic but I have to sit it out because I have so much wax right now and I have a few more orders that have yet to come in for multiple vendors 😬

Hi Martha! Great haul! 😊 So many good ones!! I would have loved to participate in this preorder, but I wasn’t aware of SMM at the time of the preorder. I did, however, participate in the preorder this past weekend. I’ve purchased a few scents in a destash as well, one being Outer Banks, and I fell fast for her wax. 😊 I love how much you love her wax and describe it.

Once I truly made the decision to get off the wax train it feels relaxing. I'm sure I will have a little FOMO but it passes very quickly and there is something freeing about sniffing and enjoying what I have instead of feeling overwhelmed by all of it. Thanks for watching! Stay strong, you have more than enough!

What a great order! So excited to get mine today. I picked up a lot of the same scents as you. Totally agree I prefer the shorter lists. I have way too much wax and it's so hard not to go overboard. I am relatively new to this vendor but what I've tried so far has been excellent.

Hello Nadine! I was in Switzerland this week. Just got home yesterday and it was cold but I know it's going to get colder. Funny that you ask if I have melted Amanda's wax. I'm melting Candy Cane Forest this morning in my bedroom. I love it! Stay warm!

@@nadineeliza-maria1506@nadineeliza-maria1506 I was there for business, and because of the week it was in, I couldn't stay longer - I wouldn't want to spend my birthday by myself, and the weekend before was Thanksgiving here with multiple engagements planned with friends. So, it was a quick work trip. Left here on Sunday, arrived in Basel on Monday, and left on Friday morning. I will have a vlog soon where I share more about my trip. I did go to the Christmas Market one evening for about an hour. Unfortunately, it was raining all day and night, and I could not stay too long. My co-worker did enjoy some gluhwein.

So I have to ask, did you end up skipping the next pre-order or did you cave 😂. Love your videos

I was good! I'm very proud of myself. So far I have not ordered from any vendors in a couple of weeks. I just tried to organize my wax storage and have no extra space so as much as it pains me I am trying to be very good for as long as I can.

@@tammielalone9327 I don't always but putting everything (almost everything) in my spreadsheet opened my eyes and it was getting overwhelming. I can't even make a normal melting basket for the month because I have so much I want to warm. Best thing I can do is pretend there is no RTS and no preorders taking place. Right now I'm being strong but will power comes and goes 😊

Hey Martha, I’m now so undecided about ordering from her or Teddy’s tomorrow. Can’t do both because of money. Never tried either one so who would you order from if you was me? Oh boy...a lot of pressure 😃. The good thing is you cannot make a bad choice. I'm going to give you some thoughts and you can decide based on your preferences. Pros for SMM is it is not an overwhelming list and in my limited experience performs stronger in open space. If you don't have tea lights or hot plates it will still work well. SMM is a preorder which will take about 8 weeks for you to get it so that can be a blessing or a curse, depending on whether you have a lot of wax you want to use up while you wait. A curse if you hate waiting and want something now. I know Amanda will be offering a discount. I don't believe Teddy Bee's will be offering a sale. Pros for Teddy Bee's It's a Ready to ship (RTS) which means you don't have to wait and you will get it in December. Her list will consist of what people have shared in all their hauls this past week because she pours extra. Her wax is not as strong and can be light unless you use tea lights and hot plates. Her list has not come up so I would look at both lists and see what it is you are looking for. A lot of TB's are better for smaller spaces because of their medium to light performance. Teddy Bee's will have a preorder in January so you can get both if you do SMM tomorrow and TB in January. One last thing about a Teddy Bee's RTS is that it is like Hunger Games, meaning the most popular scents will sell out so fast which makes it stressful. The key there is to just have a couple that you want to try all in the same size, get in and get out. There is no time to look around. That is why I much prefer preorders because I can take my time and not feel rushed. I would base it on the scent list and what gap you are trying to fill. TBs will have lots of tree scents and winter blends because much of her pre order had that. She does offer some new scents and will most likely offer any new scents in her next preorder. I find the consistency of the wax to be about the same, Tiffany uses a lot of cashmere and her fruity scents can lean perfumy which is why they work best in a bedroom. I hope that helps! Let me know what you decide.

Thank you so much Martha. I only use hot plates and tea lights. I have been looking at Teddy Bees hauls for weeks. Some old ones and new ones. Every one raves about her wax. I made a list that has about 19 on it I was going to try to get. Every one says to be very fast. Which makes me sort of nervous because my internet connection is not so great sometimes. I might wait and get her newer ones in next preorder. Just get some of the older ones this time. Then I might be able to get Salt Mountain to. So sorry didn’t mean to put pressure on you but I thought you would be really great at giving me an idea of what to do. And you did. Thank you so much for your help. Watching your videos has been a blessing to me. They help me to make a list of what I might want. So glad I came across your channel. Hope you have a good night. Thank you again ❤️
