I’ve a friend in bountiful, Utah... how’s your day going for you?

To be clear...Col Sanders started selling fried chicken roadside in KY, but the first 'restaurant' was in SLC. BTW, I currently live in SLC, and I am happy you visited our city. And I LOVE that you want to add alcohol to all of the local drinks (best way to enjoy a Swig). Cheers!

Love Red Iguana!!!!!!!!!! I'm from Vegas but I used to work in SLC and frequented RI for the guac tacos!!!!!!!!!!

Went to Sweet Lake on Saturday after watching your video and we sat in the same table you did!!!! It was so yummy!!!!

If you come here in the fall time. take the drive up the mountain and go to Ruth's Dinner. Ask to sit on the back patio. Great food, great cocktails, great atmosphere just plan on about an hour wait. :)

Yes, this is the original Hires ROOT BEER. The one and only. They use to be all over the nation, but this is one of the only ones left. Try their burgers sometimes. They are amazing. A freeze is icecream that is frozen and whipped with rootbeer

Sweet Lake city biscuits. I think you can use traxx to get there. As to Harmon's the first KFC, the Colonel was trying to find franchisees to use his recipe and yes, Harmans was the first KFC. I recommend Pat's BBQ, btw. and the Park Cafe.

In Minnesota most of the KFCs have buffets- usually quite messy and not great.

Red iguanas salsa looked watery🙄. Mole has chocolate in it...yum. I order it all the time...glad u two enjoyed Salt Lake City.

At Red Iguana you can ask for a sample of the moles and they'll give you a little plate with small scoops of all their 8-9 moles, its a nice way to figure out what you want or just to snack on with the chips

I love (the shopping mall)Trolley Center. My sis lives in SLC.

If you go back SLC, I recommend Monarca Mexican restaurant. You will not be disappointed :D

You are not wrong. It was at one time a buffet. I was there in 2011(?) and it was wonderful to keep going back for more yummy KFC chicken.

Nice to see snow!! We didn't get any snow down in SV AZ this year!! Next time your gonna have to show us your skiing skills!!⛷☺

“Harman” is the first restauranteur to get a Colonel Sanders original recipe chicken franchise from Harlan Sanders. The original restaurant and recipe was developed and served at Sander’s motel and restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky. I see Pete Harman owned a restaurant in Salt Lake City and the chicken was very popular. To promote the chicken Pete Harman hired a sign painter who originated the term “Kentucky Fried Chicken.” That would make it possible for the first use of “KFC” in advertising and making this the location of the first “KFC”restaurant. If you lived in Northeast Ohio the first restaurant to acquire Colonel Sanders recipe was Kenny Kings. As a result for decades, Colonel Sanders recipe chicken was known as “Kenny Kings” chicken.

The Salt Lake City’s KFC is the first franchise to open. First KFC is in Corbin, Kentucky. Really enjoy your videos, definitely took some notes!
