Their version of the national anthem has long been one of my favorites.

Projecting images on the flags at the end was so amazing. Very clever.

I still remember seeing the balloons all over the salt lake valley from my bedroom that night. Incredible memory.

I was fortunate to be at this closing ceremony. So cool to see this in its entirety. The US version was too commercialized. We sat just to the right of the flame and athletes

This is the feed that the Olympic Authority produced and then distributed to all national Broadcasters. NBC was disgraceful in their constant bullshit yakking over both ceremonies.. I've been praying for a way to see both ceremonies in their entirety without Bob Costas or whoever neverending talking.

@@ZakhadWOW Totally agreed, NBC completely ruined the way to watch the Olympics by being greedy with too much commercials and all the talk over. Being at this actual closing ceremony, it was a crime what NBC left out, vs what we saw in person.

Christina aguilera is the best part of this whole ceremony.. Giving as a preview of the stripped Era.. Delightful.. Performing infatuation, one of the more celebrated tracks in the iconic album

Rio,Torino,Sydney and London closing are best than Salt Lake City.These games had a better atmosphere than Salt Lake.I remember the climax when the all the 5 Spice Girls was renunited after 14 years.They used the same concept as Calgary as they planned to held these parties on a indoor arena,but the ticket demands was bigger than planned and they moved to a Stadium and also copied the Australiana concept from Sydney.

Also, I hope to wish good luck in hosting the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan next year after the Coronavirus/Covid-19 situation will be completely cleared and resolved ASAP. I also hope to see the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China; the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France; the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy; and the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Hopefully the bid will be successful for the 2030 Winter Olympics and the 2032 Summer Olympics. assuming no more horrific world disasters kick in, Salt Lake City is currently viewed as a huge favorite for 2030, considering no brand new venues will be needed Their performance/success in 2002 left them super high in IOC opinion. Just some significant update/upgrades to match waht is necessary for state of various sports in 2030

From 🇧🇷, Salt Lake City 2002 was an amazing Winter Olympics. But in that time, there's a concern! This Winter Olympics was 5 months after September 11th attacks that completed 20 years last saturday! In that time, the Americans had a certain concern with terrorism during the Winter Olympics! But the U.S government reforced the security during the Winter Olympics.
