Thanks, this is the 4th one after a long break. Salt effect is just a technique. Experienced and skilled silk painters will not fill the fabric with salt effect without any reason.

Thankyou for sharing .. I have a question : do you wash the painted fabric that has gutta on it ? Sometimes my gutta comes off when I wash the fabric after iron fixing

Yes, i wash my fabric after ironing . Don't dip fabric in water for a long period of time. Dip fabric in water for five minuts in normal tab water. Use good quality of guttas for outline. Sometimes, the gutta did not absorb in fabric properly, and this mistake became a cause

I used table salt, which should be in grains form. You can use rock salt(pink salt)

Which type of acid paints?. Are you talking about acid dyes? Try to use it on a small piece of silk fabric.

Oh, i am so sorry for that, but check your steam timing, and one thing after steaming little colour will come out from the fabric. By the way, i am not a dyes user. i made all the videos in silk paints.

Yes you can take effect on any fabric but fabric should be pure.

Apply salt on wet fabric, but do not turn on the fan. Salt takes time to affect the colors, so your fabric or paint should remain wet. One important thing to note is that the salt effect works best with silk paints or silk dyes.

Sir silk paint krney key kitne din baad hum ko fabric wash or iron krna chahiye ...or salt effect k baad bhi kitne din baad wash or iron krna chahiye...

In case of silk paints, complete your painting 1st, then remove the fabric from the frame. Iron from both sides if you are using iron fixed silk paints. After ironing, you can wash your fabric, but if you used transparent gutta for outline. There is no need to wash the fabric if you used golden,silver,copper, or black gutta.
