    Go to northfield minnesota and see the museum for the james gang raid they have a celebration in September they even do a renacment for the bank raid

    My grandma collected salt and pepper shakers. As a kid I loved looking thru the glass cabinet doors at all of them. I like when the shakers are different between the salt and pepper. When they are the same they aren’t as interesting to me. Personal preference of course. 😅

    I had an aunt who collected salt and pepper shakers. She got me started when I was a kid. I have some 50-60 years old. I still buy holiday ones. I have a bad habit of breaking one in set, though. Hope to go there soon. Enjoyed video.

    This video brings back a lot of memories for me. My mom had a collection of salt and pepper shakers 100 give or take. She had that one of the Mackinaw Bridge and it would date back to the 60s.

    I have a collection of salt & pepper shackers in my kitchen. I also have some that I have for different seasons or holidays. Have you'll ever been to Norfolk,Va. for Harborfest? If you haven't, it will be June. It's a 3 day event,with tall ships,food, merchandise to sell,and fireworks Saturday night. Hope you'll get to come and enjoy the day.

    Thank you folks for showing us, or at least me, a museum that I never knew existed. Idea time for yankeeinthesouth - two pair of Will and Dawn salt and pepper shaker sets. Yes, 2 pairs. For one pair Will is the salt shaker and Dawn is the pepper shaker, and for the other pair - Will is the pepper shaker and Dawn is the salt shaker.

    I had to wait 90 minutes for a friend to get off work, so I went there thinking it would be a good way to pass the time. 2&1/2 hours later, she was calling me to see where I was!! The wooden ones mesmerized me!! Such skills. The designs and details! I spent hours there! There are so many, and to see all of them, one is going to take a very long time!! By the way, You mispronounced "framingo"!! 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍

    One thing I will add is that we have our collection divided into seasonal groups - many of which are/can be used (our expensive/collector ones not so much). We have regular fellowship meals at our Church and we decorate according to the season. Members LOVE our collection, in fact we have received many sets as gifts over the years from members.

    17:10 Yes that's uranium glass. So much more stuff made in that type of glass (plates, cups, vases, and more!) I collect a bunch of it. Love to watch it glow under a black light

    Will & Dawn, from one that is a major S&P Shaker Collector THANKS for sharing. It is well worth a visit. We started collecting over 12 years ago and currently have over 3,500 pairs (7,000 plus shakers). I would share with you how we got started (quite interesting actually), but it would be rather long and your followers would not be interested. Anyway, THANKS AGAIN!!!

    That place is surprisingly cool and a bargain I did last year. Also a fire destroyed a lot of the collection I think it said that in the part that was closed up .

    We’ve been there twice while on vacation in Gatlinburg over the years. Hard to believe there are so many. One of the neatest places we have visited.
