@@CNCoutdoors in the video the fish you brought in was not that big but if you had a 20 to 25 pound king on there it might be a different story. I do admire your set up though.

Great video!! What speed were you guys running, two weeks ago we were out there and we were running 2.3 to 2.5 , we went 7 for 12 .

@@mesabaabrasives690 thanks! It’s a RS nets “Green Bay” style. It’s more of a walleye net but it works for salmon too
This gives me hope, trolling for big fish without downriggers. Do you fish walleye with the same rod/real setup at all?

@@Smoothjaswi downriggers really aren’t needed on the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan. Dipsy divers, lead core, weighted steel, or pump handle rods are all you really need. Nope they’re completely different rod and reel combos than my walleye rods. Walleye rods wouldn’t be able to handle the Lake Michigan tackle

@@Smoothjaswi for the salmon rods i would get 2 okuma convector 45 reels with 2 okuma classic pro copper lead core rods. Spool one up with 10 color and one up with 5 color lead core

I take my 90 lb lab with me all the time in a 16 ft boat with no problems. If your thinking of owning a pet, you might want to reconsider
