As San Francisco said, plan on working your ass off. 10 to 15 sets, like the one you just watched, then meeting up with a tender to "Pitch" fish. Then...clean up, you might average 3 hours of sleep for about 4 days in a row. Well worth it though. One of the biggest adventures of my life. Cheers

Sockeye Salmon are the premier salmon for canning and retail market. King Salmon are tops for fresh market but there are not enough Kings out there to bring the price down to a reasonable level, sixteen dollars a pound is to high, Halibut are in the same category. What is the price for a pound of Red King Salmon in Kodiak or Anchorage in the Grocery Stores during July for example.?

Fish are small no food out in the ocean the salmon stocks are near their end, down south in lower states the stocks in all rivers are at defcon 5. The real problem we have is the management the ones that get paid to over see sustainability of the stocks wasting my time damage is already in motion

They keep close tabs on the catch and set limits and vessels. It is in the best interest to sustain the fisheries.
