Shame on those Sale supporters booing the first yellow... nobody wants to see tip tackles/spear tackles, it's cynical and dangerous.

No offese, but if this is 1080p why is the bitrate so low? Something must change in the workflow of getting these highlights out...

Great watching sale grind through this game did well to keep in the fight. We really do need to improve our attacking play tho we're not getting much go forward or gain line success when running and when close to the line just make mistakes. Come on sale onto next week!

Bristolalways have the players but seem to underachieve. Having Genge, Sinckler is as good a pairing as anyone in this league and Malins, Ibitoye and Randell they should be higher than they are

Sinckler has been out of form for Bristol for a lot of his time there. Probably need a bit more grunt in the engine room to get the metres going before they unleash the backs.

The broadcasters should stop spoiling other matches that are going on at the same time. I like to watch all the matches. Today i'm watching back Leicester vs Saracens and now i don't have to watch Exeter vs Northampton anymore because the broadcast showed all the tries. I'm gonna spam this message.

Didn't like the bump from the centre on the first try (0:10 on the tape). Of course he's obstructing.

The Malins try at 42 mins was off a clearly forward pass from Luatua. The need to make the game fast and a spectacle seems to out weigh the laws when it comes to forward passes these days.

I agree with Pete, it really isn't very clear it is forward, and angles not level with the play can be deceptive, I don't think that is the sort of marginal call we should be reviewing or disallowing.

They have got to re think the laws on high tackles. Both Sale tacklers were bent at knees and hips, and the Bristol player dropped at the last minute. As it stands, the tackler has 95% accountability for the outcome of a collision but a ball carrier only 5%. Prime chance for milking of penalties. Whatever happened to a fair contest? Also, why do the protocols mean that refs only look at the outcome? Surely the decision should be based on the actions of the tackler and carrier, and the outcome should be seen as a subsequent ‘rugby incident’. IE, were the actions of the tackler illegal irrespective of whether head contact was made? Start penalising high tackles when they DONT make head contact, and don’t penalise low tackles if they DO make head contact.

I agree but the pro game has decided tacklers are the ones responsible. At amateur level they have brought in a rule that the carrier is penalised for a late dip however the caveat is that any tackle that hits the chest is now a penalty so it has become a pen fest.

Exactly, so talk blokes now dropping their height as expected and ball carrier drops down and collides with their shoulder. Surely the definition of a rugby incident. This penalty fest is all about the image of the game/those in charge looking to change things for 'welfare'. Just feel for the players must be so frustrating. Could seriously do with some player representatives speaking up!!

If you look at 8:43, the carded player doesn't bend his hips at all and would have been close to high on the contact with no drop in ball carrier height at all. First tackler is fair all day, but that second tackler is being lazy and paid the price.

Love the highlights. What's the short clip from the players all about? They are all terrible! All the players are so dry and clearly reading from a script! Does nothing for the format imo.
