This anime is like a really bizarre version of Gurren Lagann. The first episode was crazy, but oddly enjoyable to me. I have faith in this being a decent anime.

My big bet was the father and mother were a marker team and she died which was why he didn't want her to be one. I can't wait to see how this turns out

Because it's sudden, it happened to confident people that are shown to be competent as well and it's just out of nowhere, not to mention the relationship they had with the shows main characters.
