i hope you guys enjoy this revised, full version of my original saisei english cover. i worked so hard on this one, and i poured my entire soul into both the lyrics and the vocals, so i hope you guys all enjoy it!
this marks the beginning of my rerecords and re-releases of my older nightcord covers! the next one to expect will be id smile, which won't have any lyrical changes but, OH BOY, is it so much nicer to listen to. i feel like my vocals here have really improved since the last take, and im honestly just thrilled to be able to get another chance to give this song the justice that it deserves.

i have to say i love the lyric change from “crashing down around me so soft and slow, is everything that i’ve ever known” to “everything, it crumbles like powdered snow, staining dark on my warm afterglow” it feels so much more impactful and ties back to Mafuyu being connected with snow. beautiful lyrics and beautiful vocals yet again 😭😭😭

Oh my god I never thought we would get this song this early into the month. IMMEDIATELY APOLOGIZING FOR SUCH A LONG COMMENT. Saisei is one of the songs that have saved me so much, without it some parts of my own artistic endeavour would have not existed. I have always hated how the community throws this song off as nothing but another simple slow song in a derogatory sense, so seeing this justified cover on its full is such a sigh of relief. You managed to capture the feelings of warmth and cold throughout the entire thing. The actual lyrics translations I have seen seems to have the sense of naivety, someone who genuinely do not know what went wrong. This was kept really well in this cover despite the troubles of having to pad out words. Simple songs tend to get easily over-congested by english cover artists as they attempt to fill in the syllables, leading to the songs sometimes derailing a bit to the actual meaning when I heard the short version of this I know you wouldn't fall into that pit, and I was right. I appreciate how you have also included the nightmare/dream word changing that Picon have put in the lyrics. This cover had made me cry like how I cried when i heard the short version of the song during the event's first JP event live, the full version picon released right after, and the full cover that released more than half a year ago. I hope this translyrics will help people see why this song, while not the greatest in the 25ji line up, is definitely not something to throw out just because the master chart is weirdly difficult and the song being so short in-game.

I don't care what the fanbase say, this song will always be in the special place in my heart. When i first time listened to this song without voice (back then in global, except at that time j didn't know what commissioned songs supposed to mean) so i was excited to actually hear this song with voice... I love this song a lot to start with, and from the adaptation made for the cover, to all of the emotion that can be noticed. This is amazing. I can tell you have a really good powerful voice with the other covers I've heard from you, yet, your soft voice doesn't disappoint at all, and goes incredible with the song. Even more with the emotion put in it. Hope it can get used with another cover you make in future TL;DR : I love this. You did an amazing work with it.

I like PJSK other than the songs. The characters, especially Nightcord 25:00. They are all connected somehow. They have completely different struggles, but what they felt are similar. Mafuyu, who couldn’t find herself because she changed herself to other people’s expectations, and not being herself Mizuki, who treats herself as herself and be herself, was treated as an outcast Kanade, who wanted to “save” people with her songs, because she ended up “hurting” her father with her songs. Ennanan, who is an artist, but she doesn’t seems to get recognition. All of them seeks for something and desires something. All of them feels similar. They want to be themselves, they all had felt the depths of despair, they all felt lonely at some point. MY favourite group of characters in PJSK are the characters from Nightcord 25:00
