For real. I hadn't gotten around to playing the first two games until around the start of this year, and they were a lot of fun, especially SR 2. The story, the activities, the missions, the open world, it's all incredible even up to today's standards. It's a shame because people always talk about GTA and how good those games are, that the first two Saint Row games went under the radar, especially paired with the fact that during that time, these games were described as GTA clones. But honestly, I'd say Saints Row 2 is just as good as GTA 4. Both games have their own strengths but in the end, both are amazing open world crime games but unfortunately not a lot of people talk about SR 2 compared to GTA 4. Tbh, I think if the first 2 Saints Row games were released today, people would pay a lot more attention to them.

I honestly hope gta 6 takes a lot from this game because I feel like this is one of the best open world crime games ever. You have the ability to rob any shops. Go into prisons and hospitals it’s amazing !

The Simpsons Hit & Run soundtrack is top tier editing

After watching Darkviperau's playthrough of SR2 I've been getting recommended other YT videos on it, I'm happy to see it's widely regarded as a well aged classic. I recently replayed through this game and had more fun this time than my first time through because I kinda rushed through the main missions my first time playing it back in 2012 but this time I did all the extra activities which made it 10x more fun. I wish they'd remaster SR2, just improve the graphics and hitboxes, bring back the multiplayer, and then just let the IP die, this was their magnum opus.

Saint Row 2 is simply put one of the greatest games ever created! Truly unlimited fun. I was a part of a message board group where we made up challenges. I did the grab the blow up doll from Donnie's shop and run across the city smacking everybody with it and see if you could survive. Your gang is hilarious. Follow them around on foot and watch what they do. If they bump into someone they immediately pull out a baseball bat or knife and start chasing and beating them up and if they run they will pull out their guns. There is also a very easy and repeatable glitch where you can get your homies to drive you around town and they will do drive bys on people. Also we need a part 2 of this video.
