How beautiful. Sending love from the TLM Indy community
What an amazing restoration!
Wow impressive! This church is a light in the dark times of The Catholic Church! #NeverVaticanIIagain!
St Stanislaus really have a fantastic faithfully parishioners. It's great to see them rebuild their parish, their beloved church. May God always guide and protect them.
I attend this parish, and I’m happy to announce that the remnants of the original Communion rail were not removed completely. Instead of removing and getting rid of them, they were instead revamped as credence tables. Also, I personally believe the stained glass windows being found was a case of Divine Intervention.
Beautiful!
I feel so blessed our family was led to join this beautiful parish. It has been life changing for each of us. We are so grateful for the Latin Mass.
Beautiful history. The awesome people ! Blood sweat and tears! God bless them all!
Deo gratias for restored beautiful churches and the ICK. This is so heartening.
I am so happy to see this church get back to its original shape and spirituality
Beautiful history, and a beautiful film. To call St. Stsnislaus the oldest Polish parish or church in America, is untrue, however. It is the third. The first Polish church built in America was erected in 1855 in Panna Maria, Texas. The Polish parish in Parisville, Michigan, was formed around the same time as the one in Panna Maria. You could say that St. Stanislaus is the oldest Polish urban parish in North America, and be accurate.

Very interesting! Thank you. I just did a quick look-up on those two. It appears those were both rebuilt in the last century. Could we say St.Stan's is the oldest SURVIVING Polish church in America?

"in the original building" would be accurate, I believe.
A couple of credits I missed in the last minute rush to have this ready for the anniversary celebration: BEAUTIFUL aerial shots by Darrell Boeck. Additional photos by James Berry from Cream City Catholic.
Beautiful church, beautiful story, beautiful blonde interviewee.
According to my Mother who was the last baby born of her family on Jones Island on Sept. 27, 1912-Sept. 28, 1997 told me that the Kaszube people paid for the beam (has symbols of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John on it) over the Sanctuary for prayers answered. I do not know about that Crucifix (maybe later - unsure).
Praise the lord Jesus Christ 🙏 and mother Mary 🙏 being St Stanislas catholic church
Has anyone ever gone back to find the people responsible for the "renovation" of the 60's and 70's to see what they think of the situation now? I suppose they are all gone, but it would be interesting to se if they had any regrets for nearly destroying that beautiful house of God, or if they are sad to see it restored to its original splendor.

True, keep in mind that many, priest, bishops, cardinals, have "interpreted" to their own liking too. Making it even worse.
