I think this works better than the various transcriptions I've heard of violin concerti on soprano. Definitely some of the best bari playing I've ever heard - bravo! Otsukaresamadeshita!

@@user-fz3sx9lb3o The video title says Mr. Hondo did the arrangement. You could either try to contact him, or buy a copy of the cello version and arrange it yourself. (Much of it wouldn't be too much trouble - with an E-flat instrument, you can just pretend the bass clef is a treble clef, add three sharps [or subtract three flats], and read right off the original. Then you just have to watch out for accidentals. But if the solo part goes into tenor or treble clef, that would require a bit more transposing work.)

Good day Mr Hondo. What brand of baritone saxophone is that? I have 2 holes on the side and go to low Bb, but that one... 4 holes on the side... how low can you go?

4 holes is low A to my understanding.

@@nikolaspasco2087bell is also extended a bit more for the low a. I see it as the low a horns don’t curve out as much as the low bb ones. Hope that helps 🙏

It’s true. All that extra brass tubing gives you precisely one semitone more at the low end! But a lot of classical and concert band repertoire requires that low A.

I new bariton is just base of the var. Sax. But I know it,s very good as a solo. I hope this will be loved forever to the more people.
