ironically i think that high school reunion did the opposite of mature. the cohesiveness of the songwriting degraded. the uzi feature had potential but was mid at best. by taking out the pre-chorus in the beginning, he takes away from the resolution of the hook. overall the original high school reunion is a much better track

Are you on drugs? This dude is it. Very talented. It would have been only a matter of time before people started to acknowledge him, Imanbek just sped up the process. St john is the best rapper/mix genre artist today, so hush! Imanbek is a common thief, but we love him. He did a great remix but the music belongs to St john. So what more do you want , he publicly acknowledge him? Do you want St john to kiss his ass? No way! It's imanbak who should kiss St john's ass. St john's music made him rich. So the end result is, that they are both happy, and now laughing all the way to the bank.

@@jujasname , wny should l delete my comment? Imanbek tried to contact st john before he put out his version but st john ignored him. Why did you think Imanbek reach out first, because of copyrights issues. You just can't take someone's property and pass it off as your own don't matter now much you modified it. Both parties came to an agreement later on and Imanbek is not complaining. They are both happy. So what is the matter with you? Imanbek said he likes the original. One is a dark slow hip hop track not meant for dancing, and the other is a lively disco fast beat track meant for dancing, two separate genre. I can listen to any of the versions and know that it's the same song. I love all of them. None is better than the other, they are just different genres to suit people with different musical taste.

Bro, JHN, how are you going to follow up Ghetto Lennys Love Songs with this new album, all the features are bad, man. 6LACK & Khelani is good, but Ye had a trash verse, Uzi is wack, DaBaby is trash man, idk bro. You even added the Roses remix with Future & that version ain’t good bro. That shit is from 2018 off Collection One. I just don’t get it dude. GLLS is a classic tape, & album of the year 2019. But this wasn’t what iiiiii personally wanted or what I think is going to pop you into the masses. Idk dude... Sucks To Be You, & Gorgeous is what I expected from the album,. Those songs are fucking great, but then I seen the features before the album dropped & became disappointed as fuck, & now after the album, I’m big upset... but it’s whateva.. look my NotACult family, I just need JHN by himself. It would’ve been a good album if the features aren’t what they are, I liked Collection One & Ghetto Lennys Love Songs, those had no features. That’s all I need, man.. All the songs on the new album that have no features & it’s just him, they’re great bruh. It’s dope to have new music & it be good by SAINt, I just am disappointed in the album as a whole & as his ‘3rd collection’. Anyways.. Love from Oregon.

I was thinking the almost the same thing from glllc. That album every song can't miss and I feel now he's looking for another "Roses". Especially remaking high school and Monica. Also if he's being honest it should be prom before high school reunion and elections would be before, so conceptually i was confused. Overall he could've kept those remixes as singles like "white parents"

@@ryancoleman4120 I definitely agree with you homeboy. He ruined (didn’t ruin the originals, but you know what I’m saying) 2 classic songs, just made them worse, I don’t get it, (I can only speak for what I think) but I mean.... to ME, the original 2 songs he ‘re-did’ with minor beat changes & chords & putting a feature on it, idk. It’s not good. I’m 27. I don’t fuck with Uzi, I don’t fuck with DaBaby, I’m a grown ass man. But I do however really like A Boogie. I fuck with him heavy. The features are my main gripe; Them fools ain’t even on SAINt’s level, but I get he’s also trying to appeal to a younger crowd. But why an ALBUM? A ‘collection’ of his. It just seems off-putting but I don’t know bruh. This album I was hella hyped for, but it’s AIGHT... I’m mad disappointed, Sorry y’all; this is an honest review but an artist I looveeee bruh. I can be opinionated & feel like he let me down. Don’t bark at me in the comments whoever comments next cuz I could care less.. I just feel like GLLS is literally a classic album with no flaws. I just don’t really understand man, lol. Whatever though congrats to SAINt..

@@RyanMatson its def appealing to a newer audience which is great. I thought white parents [dope song] would def be on this if the iambek was on this. NOt a CULt is getting 2 Kanye features 👀 😳, had Lenny Kravitz, plus the features this year.. i agree bout uzi [he can check Pluto off his list], im actually surprised j balvin remix didn't make it. One of the beats seemed like a chopped up Chamillionaire beat [seemed *]. But overall I understand the trajectory, 1 album had to say hello to mainstream, knowing the othe nex✝️ collection will be 🔥. He said he had to put this out and had his main waiting via his original post about this album.
