Strong ship. You can clearly see that the monster has been trying to destroy it for some hours but it doesn't get destroyed. Good job whoever built the ship.

This film changed the perception of pirates in general, not only musically;) It was great adventure music for an adventure film, but it probably influenced the image of a pirate too much.

No, it didn't change my perception of "pirate" music. It did give us a great new movie pirate-themed genre though. :)

Currently on our mapping unit in science class, I put this on so I could feel more like a pirate captain looking for the coordinates of some long forgotten gold, and less like a depressed, anxiety ridden, burnt out teenager

Interestingly enough in DnD, one of the strongest sea creatures - the kraken is immune to lightning and uses it in its attacks, so it might be a thing :D

@@arthurthewanderer5760 choose the more calm bits and loop them for ambient background music, find the intense bits for battle music, get a few different sections of differing paces and tempos for certain types of scenarios for the game. You will have to find a way to play said music in the background without drawing to much attention from the game, the music is there to enhance the game.

I love studying to this, but it always makes me wish the world were still so simple. Why did technological advancements have to come and make everything so easy. Is it weird that I'm imagining something like Space Pirates or maybe Vikings on a relatively techno-primitive, scrapped together, early generation interstellar starship/scrapheap.The ship is in code red caught in and attempting to navigate their way threw unchartered space and threw the middle of a force-8.5 ion storm? Shields are all down, plasma conduits are blowing out everywhere, and the hull panels are twisting and creaking as the crew desperately scrambles to patch 'em, ALL SYSTEMS CRITICAL! Grrrrr full steam ahead growls the captain!

Not weird at all it's normal to imagine things like being on a adventure like that.

Through timber and salt spirit resonates , empty words lost in the wind yet for how ever briefly a ferocious echo upon the waves , and in hearts it spark lingering embers.. fear when true pirates rolls out the cannons ,you thought them fearsome before when boarding without warning like howling sea wolfs harrying you over across the waves , yet as the governments learnt when facing where their arrogance lead them as they hade to acknowledge rare true pirate lords as governors with the rights of private armies or watch further conflict only nourish them in ALL mortal ways , with wealth from plunder , with manpower and hulls from slave ships , with loyalty from fairness , with ferocity and tenacity from trials so will you learn rad music mix .specially loved hearing some antti martikan stuff or how his name is spelled

Old West Conquest - Antti Martikainen was actually really good. it had some chinese western vibes to it along with the other cultures from the old west that aren't portrayed very often.

Finally, the song we've all been waiting for. Nothing makes me feel more at home than this.
