@Erwin Lii yea it was a rebranding tactic since PGSM. Every merchandise and reiteration translated senshi as guardian in English in the early 2000’s including the logo to deviate from the 90’s style. Though it’s only this series that translates senshi as guardian now when every other anime series takes soldier as the official English translation

@@pallafox 'senshi' doesn't have a real English equivalent. 'Warrior' is probably the closest thing. Pretty Solider Sailor Moon sounds much better to my ears.

When I was a kid, it took me forever to realize that's what they were saying. (Although they literally just say "Sailor Soldier", probably because Japanese doesn't really indicate plurals in nouns) I was confused but I thought that maybe they were singing "Sailor Senshi" with some kind of fancy pronunciation, maybe even denoting plural. (Kinda ironic, I know)

I love how the real transformation treat in the series have always been the inner seshi. Yeah Sailor moon had the long magical sequence when transforming but it was so much more awesome seeing the rest of the scouts transform together.

nah i personally think the crystal osts are far better than the originals. it got some powerful and majestic feelings whenever i listen to them the sailor soilders were actually treated like goddesses which the osts fits perfectly. not a fan with the shounen style from the originals tho

@@lapsedilationdrive3943 Nooo way. Crystal has almost no variety when it comes to music. That powerful and majestic tune is used in every single episode, and it loses its impact super quickly. It doesn't feel like battle music and it doesn't get you hyped or pumped up. There are no individual character themes or transformation themes. It feels super... phoned in. Sorry.
