That's not amazing, that's their job. In Japan, when you're a character, you *ARE* that character. Look up any Japanese commercial featuring anime characters, it will be the official cast.

Awesome that this doesnt have the red filter! THIS is the original color palattes for the 90's anime! (For those who don’t know, when transferred to different video formats back then, a red filter so happened to be used on the majority of those formats and would digitally alter the original pinkish pastel palette cels that were used in the entire anime. That’s why when people auction these cels online, they’re a brighter color bc that’s what they were INTENDED to be!)

Yeah, except if they were shoes that are only available in kids shoe sizes (where I live, most shoe sizes go from around 30 (very small, shoes for little babies and toddlers but Idk, maybe there are even smaller shoes) to around over 50 (not very common, those are very giant shoes that you probably can only get in special stores). The average shoe size for women here is size 40, for men it is size 44. My shoe size is actually 40/41, but my newest shoes are size 42. Most kids shoes here go up to size 37. But I wore size 37 in 1st/2nd grade and this is way too small for me now… lol.

It's really charming when these ads mix cartoonish animations in a real context, they are really fun (yeah that flying shoe made me laugh too)!

You would feel like a boss wearing those shoes.

In the past, most TV animes were produced with the financial support of large toy companies. So anime production companies had to include tools that could be sold as toys in their animes.

The shoe commercial is funny, but to me nothing beats the bit where Usagi is ready for the pool in her bathing suit, and the starlights are just standing in dramatic poses. One might be confused and think those are THEIR bathing suits
