Sailing to Scotland on our Albin Vega 27 (Ep.35)
In this episode we finally set out to sail across the Irish Sea to Scotland. It may not not seem a lot to most people but to us newbie sailors it was a big deal. Special thank you to those that are supporting us on Ko-fi & Patreon. Also Mark at KZread channel Scarlet Visuals for help with the drone shots.

@@Alan13Mac That's something we'd love to do. Unfortunately it's not something we can afford yet. The dream is to sail our little boat all the way down there 🤞
It is a tricky wee entrance. Nice drone footage too!

it is tricky. glad the wind and current weren't too hard on us arriving
Nice one! We made that trip the other way around a couple of years ago - Port Patrick to Banger. Felt pretty epic to us. We had a good bit of wind that day, and were expecting some excitement outside of Portpatrick with the tidal rips, but oh boy.. was wilder than I had imagined. The little Vega performed well though! 😁 We were lucky to enter Porpatrick on a flat calm day before this though.. I don't think I'd fancy that with any drama!
