love to watch sail videos. When i was a kid i went sailing with my uncle ,he had a little sailing boat and we went sailing on a nearby lake.I have good memories about that, and i like to be busy with the sailing on the boat, not just sit and watch, but helping with it,it makes you bond with the boat.

Loved this video. Thanks for sharing your story. We are 5 years from retirement and liveabord life for sure. No home, no car, just a boat and a dingy. You story is so encouraging. Last summer, we chartered a 2014 Jenneau 379 in Corsica, France and it was awesome sailing. The boat handled beautifully in strong winds. We felt very safe and comfortable. Helming was so easy as the boat had a well balanced sail plan. Thank you for sharing. Ced and Kiki, Montreal, Qc.

Sail on until daybreak, the worlds oceans are yours for the asking (and hard work) Remember, today is the tomorrow you spoke about yesterday, sail while you are able, tomorrow never arrives. Enjoy your cruising tour of the islands , adventure awaits just over the horizon. Take that word from an old captain, a seafaring seadog and his mate, we sailed our 64' double planked Mahogany hull Ketch known in the 70s as a Taiwan Clipper throughout many a passage for a decade hauling passengers and light cargo throughout the islands, we did it while strong of muscle, stout of heart and limb, youth on our side and Blue water pumping through our veins. You are blessed, most folks wait until they are a bit to old to handle a fair sized vessel, we didn't, there are no "I should have's, "we wish we had" or 'there's still time when we retire', nope, tomorrow never arrives. Good on you two. The only reason we retired, became to weak of limb and stamina to handle a 64" ketch rig and maintenance required. Be well. Capt David Lee, SV Eleutheros (ret)

Dear Ms and Mr Zimmer - we are considering a sisterboat but with shallow keel and i wonder if you have the deep keel and-or if you, or other readers have any experience with the shallow draft in open waters ?

We have a shallow keel, 5’10” and are very happy with it. We’ve circumnavigated and gone all over the Bahamas and Keys in places only a shallow keel can enter!

We are still living aboard full time. We spent this summer in Nova Scotia, as far north as the fabulous Bras D’Or Lakes! We’ll winter in the Bahamas, and spend next summer in Newfoundland!
