I sail to the north end of Moreton Bay, just north of Brisbane then anchor in the very tidal Pumicestone Channel and have some dramas. After a tumultuous night I sail seaward on a coastal hop past the popular yacht hub of Mooloolaba, snatching rest as I go, before reaching Noosa Heads and its iconic beach.
