Thanks for making this video Tom. I always wanted to check it out in person, like you did for us on this walk through. The weather was perfect, cloudy and not hot 'n humid. The Sailfest brings out the real New London and I know the residents look forward to this happy festival each and every tear. Nobody will ever say that one photographer Tom Kaszuba is a people shy type of guy.....LOL☺. You saved me a trip and the hassle of finding a place to park, but the food spots look most inviting. I have not been on State St. ever since the church collapsed so maybe that will get me out there, even if the remaining days of the Sailfest will be a bit hot 'n humid. The dock scenes on the river were beautiful and your camera work was done as smoothly as possible.

@@discgolfbilly It’s a big festival but in the 70’s and 80’s it was absolutely massive. 100’s of thousands of people. I’m very happy you enjoyed the video. Thank you so much Bill.

Thanks Tom! I was in the first band at the Parade Stage that day. Earlier when the rains were happening. We were forced to start a little late.😊 Helluva lot of fun though! Didn’t get the chance to walk around afterward. Glad you filmed this. It seems as though it was quite a success this year.

Tom, towards the end of this video a man with grey hair and beard walked past you on your left and I don't know if it was my imagination, but, I thought he said, "Hi, Tom, can you help me, I'm lost.". or something like that. I want to look at the video again and see. There was such a huge crowd!

@@marcd1981 My personal BEST Sailfest ever was 2007. The Reducers put on a show right next to that statue at the end of Bank Street and I swear there were a sea of people packed watching them as far as the eye could see. 10’s of thousands of people. It was incredible.
