Sail We Must
A Sea Story of Andrew Weatherall and an Irish Fisherman.
This short film is a tribute to the legendary DJ and music producer Andrew Weatherall and explores the Irish origins of the personal mantra he carried throughout his life and art - 'Fail We May, Sail We Must'.
Directed and filmed by Trevor Whelan and Rua Meegan of Grizzly and Produced by creative agency The Tenth Man, this 11-minute film journeys from London across the Irish Sea to Galway and West Cork as the backstory gradually unravels.
The film premiered in The Sugar Club and on MixMag in February 2022, on the anniversary of The Guv'nor's passing.

The fisherman's story is so good.
Just watched this again. Really moving. He was a unique artist. My favourite experience of seeing him was probably that last Convenanza set he did, 28.09.2019. Absolutely phenomenal.
