On Wednesday 28 September 2022, the sail away of the offshore substation for Hollandse Kust (noord) took place. The substation left the EQUANS’s yard in Hoboken, headed for the offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea.
This substation was built on behalf of TenneT by the joint venture EQUANS - Smulders.
