Sai Baba's Rose Miracle - 'Jaisa Bhav, Taisa Anubhav'
A very touching story of Baba's devotee Shankar, who made a heartfelt wish in Shirdi, and how Sai Baba fulfilled his simple desire. As is one's Bhav (sentiment), so is one's experience (Anubhav).
Shankar removed a thorn from a rose before placing the flower as an offering to Baba; he did this with the pure sentiment that the thorn should not hurt Baba.
While admiring the lavish garlands that decorated Baba's statue, Shankar suddenly wished that the few flowers he had brought could adorn Baba's murti. He then cast the thought aside, sure that it would never be possible.
What happened thereafter was so unexpected that it gave the devotee goose bumps.

The most note worthy is that, this gentleman removed the thorn so that it doesn't hurt Baba. For him it is not a statue of Baba, but Baba himself as if alive. Usually this kind of faith and innocence can only be seen in children. Not in adults. It is because this man's internal faith was so simple, and that he offered with humility the little that he had. A saint, God, avatar really has no need for us to give anything. He takes only because it makes you happy. What is given with love and without need for repayment of any kind is the sublime teaching of all genuine figureheads of the divine in every culture and religion. Shirdi appeared to be a beggar fakir, yet He is perhaps the richest of us all.

Not perhaps, Surely HE is the richest of all !!!. We humans can have only what he gives. Man has not invented anything new. Man at the very best reused and recycled what God has already made or provided. He only expects Love in return. He is the ultimate in love and compassion.
