The biggest reason we are unaware of the purpose and the real story of our very creation and existence that we as Muslims stopped contemplating the Quran and made Islam as a ritualistic religion. Consequently, we stopped studying science, logic, philosophy, and the right psychology. West took all knowledge that we achieved in middle ages as Scientists and scholars.

Your opinion is based on a very short timeline of what you are currently observing and concluding as an eternal truth. Fact is White man as you called them are presently dominant in science and technology. Few hundred years back Muslims were dominant and thousands of years back Hindus may be the dominant race and the shaper of world at that time. You clearly don't get the discussion, its no about human subjugation of the world around him but his own subjugation to the Ultimate power that we call Allah, bagwan or God. The question is why we are here and what us our true life purpose beside seeking temporary glory here in this world . Because the leadership is a reflection of its people, especially in a democracy. People are too worried about their immediate needs and don’t take the afterlife as their primary goal. The lack of understanding of the Quran and Sunnah are responsible for this. The inferiority complex of post-colonial countries has made everyone forget that they already have all the answers to everything, how justice needs to be run, what laws need to be implemented, what everyone’s role is, etc. Pakistan is now just suffering the inevitable consequences of all this.
