Tai was genius in every sense.Many might not know this, but tai had conposed about 30 ghazals,she had touched every genre in classical music.Not only she immortalized traditional ragas like yaman,bhoop, todi, hansadhwani,jaijaiwanti,gaud sarang but she brought the beauty of jaipur ragas of Savani kalyan,nat kamod, Raisa kannada,lalitagauri,bhoop nat.She also brought agra ragas like Hussaini todi,barwa,pat bihag and immortalized them.She also crafted new ragas like lagan gandhar,anand malhar, Adana malhar.Thanks Rahul dada ,aaj kishori tainchi athvan all khup!

I discovered Kishori Tai through a small clip from her "Miya Ki Todi" recording, with Pt Purushottam Walwalkar. I listened to it for days, months, I just couldn't take my ears away from that particular bandish. Then I heard several other bandishes, watched her interviews, and I was deeply impressed by her. She was, indeed, an incarnation of Maa Saraswati in the modern times. Thank you for this, Rahul sir. Loving your work, especially all the ghulam ali khan sahab's ghazals that you've sung.

The way you are feeling the raag and using notes to generate emotions is beautiful just like Kishoriji believed sing to express not to impress. It's transcending. This raga has only 5 notes still Kishoriji importalized this raga for centuries. You are keeping her legacy alive.

Thank you Rahulji. I love to listen to Hindustan Classical music. Studied it, as a kid. Unfortunately, I didn't continue with. But, during this lick down period, you've rekindled the love for it, and though the technical aspect I'm ignorant of, I just enjoy listening to your rendition of songs, and also the way you explore the raags and your explanations. Thank you very much

I can’t understand music much but listening to this in early morning was most blissful experience. Thank you very much for last one year’s sharing of your hard work - it has been a great journey. Your way of explaining the gandharva and reaching it twice with example was very-2 helpful- something regular cd recordings do not have.

मी हेच म्हणणार होतो. भूप रंगवायला फार अवघड. सहेला रे हे इतके उत्कट आहे की शास्त्रीय संगीत आहे ह्याचा विसर पडतो. मी हजारोनी वेळा (काही वेळा १९८९ ला अभ्यास करतांना तर दिवसात दहा वेळा) ऐकले आहे.

सहेला रे ही ताईंची सिग्नेचर ट्यून झाली आहे. ही चीज मी रोज रात्री देवाचे स्तोत्र ऐकावे तसे झोपताना ऐकते.मन शांत होते. ताईच्या स्वराची ताकद काय वर्णावी! राहुल, ताईंबद्दलचे प्रेम,आदर तुझ्या गाण्यात दिसून येते.

There can't be a more befitting tribute to Gaan Saraswati Kishori Tai. Your humility while acknowledging the contributions of greats is superb and this really helped you raise your singing to a great height. Once tabla ustad zakir saheb said," none can match Kishori Tai's Raag Bhoop rendition despite practicing it for 100 years." I do agree. Had she been alive today, she must have blessed you hugely for this try.

Only request that please give a prologue before presentation so that we will be able to know more about our roots, that will include other artists information also. It will go a long way to promote and make the present generation understand classical music, if one tries to brief them about the beauty and how the composition has to be appreciated.

In the beginning you sounded like Prabhakar karekar ji. Yes ' trance ' and ' goosebumps ' every time I listen to Sahela... Your concluding alap is super.22.27 to 22.29 a touch of Kumar gandharv was there. Wonderful. Keep singing sir. Let the music flow. I have been listening to Kishori ji right since 1965 or 67 Geet gaya pattharone days. Good luck to you

The first raag which my daughter learned was Raag Bhoop. Alongwith her, I could learn little classical music. Beautiful!!
