Sagittal Synostosis
There are several fibrous joints that connect the bones in an infant’s skull. These joints are called sutures. When the sutures close too early, they can cause problems with the brain and skull growth. Sagittal synostosis happens when the sagittal suture in an infant’s skull closes too soon. I had this surgery in 1967. Dr.Matson. Lots of blood transfusions. My poor mother was fraught, but I eventually managed to get a Masters in math!
My son had this operation and I wish my doctor had picked this up when he was born, my son was born with 48cm head with the elongated shape and was missed, even though they checked! Had surgery at 7 months and is now two and a half years old, if any parents are considering this operation for their child, go for it!

@waji20 Sorry for late reply, never knew I had a message, I live in the UK so had it done on the NHS for free,my son is now 11 years old and his head is perfect if not a bit bumpy.
ty! I'm only a great uncle, but the closer relatives are flipping out. It, entails 5 hrs of driving to & fro, & days of hotels, but I'll share this video as u make it sound less scary than what ifs.

Please doctor help me my children is problem
Can it be done for an adult? I endured years of endless bullying and taunting as a child because of this condition. I didn't know what it was called up until my adult years. I just want know if there's hope for adults with this condition to be corrected and get a good head shape.

And we wonder why children are bullies, they have great leadership, in adults who was failed as kids themselves.
