This was really helpful. I have subscribed as currently doing a Sage course and sometimes when I read pages of words, it just doesn't sink in. Seeing it visually makes it so much clearer and easier to retain.

Thanks you are a life saver, I have just been asked to become the treasurer for a small local charity (they could not find anybody else). i am a recently retired nurse with some middle management experience but none on Sage, which is what they are using. So your website is going to be great for me.

The teaching is so well done, I am staying here and learning from him all the way through, the others can make one confused sometimes . After all of this, would you teach us real world examples of how to be an accountant in the real world? Like, you rock up at your desk and check your e mails, and then you plan the day, you firstly do cash book entries, and then you take some phone calls advising someone on tax, tax bracket and income tax, and then suddenly it is end of the month and the reconciling needs to be done, for the bank, as well as customers and suppliers (receiving their statement), and then also explaining a real accountant in the day of an accountant? If any of this makes sense please consider.

thanks for the great video. I just got a new job which is moving from quickbook to sage. I don't start until July 10. I am looking for in depth tutorials for sage, but unable to find any. Can you please give me some suggestions on how I can teach my self sage before i start my new job? thanks

I work for small company that receives payments through there website all the sales go to nominal code 4000 is the a way to change this other than going in to every individual purchase and changing to specific nominal code ? I’m new to sage and finding changing all the codes very time each purchase comes through very time consuming many thanks

HELP!!! All my codes do not show on the nominal list!!!! I am able to post to all codes (so they must be somewhere) but don’t have then on the nominal list, so cannot make any reports, such as nominal activity. When I run a nominal activity report, it is only running all the control codes. Please help!!

Try going to the top right and change the layout (you will need to be on the nominal module).

There should be a free software version available for the ones who are learning.... at least for a week ... as we can learn better by experiencing :(
