I love how there isn't a single cuss word or thrown wrench. Evidently that isn't me working on it. Anytime I have removed panels I stand a 50% chance of having a clip break.

Thanks so much for posting. It made my job so much easier! And I probably saved a couple of hundred dollars after spending an hour of my own time (and a $15 set of Torx drivers!)

Ford escape is TERRIBLY designed (peep the tucked in engine) and built cheaply (door handles give with barely any force).

Could this have been the reason my speakers cut out after 30 minutes of listening to music? It happens everyday after they fixed the recall on mine

Ooh so they do take off the door handle no wonder when I went to open up my door the handle came with it

It's just a vapor barrier to keep moisture from getting into the electrical parts...it's held on with butyl tape.

Damn Fords.
