In line with passenger safety, InDrive, a leading ride-hailing service in Nigeria collaborated with the Lagos State Ministry of Transport, the Nigeria Police Force and the Federal Road Safety Corps on Thursday, 18th of April to organize a Safety Education Event where members of the public were educated on the safety measures they can take while using ride-hailing services.
The event served as a tool to address the recent unpleasant experiences of ride-hailing users. It also served as an opportunity for InDrive to talk about its innovation in the ride-hailing service industry toward passenger safety one of which is that a passenger can now reach law enforcement agents through the InDrive app. It also educated the public on the importance of taking safety measures seriously to make for an enjoyable trip.
