Safer Business Action Day | Southampton - 18 October 2023
We were pleased to support Go! Southampton’s fourth Safer Business Action, helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the city centre.
On Wednesday 18 October we joined Go! Southampton and Southampton City Council in the city centre, talking to businesses and disrupting offenders.
Southampton’s Chief Inspector Marcus Kennedy explains more about Safer Business Action Day and our commitment to tackling retail crime and associated violence and anti-social behaviour.

It called doing your job that what the public pay their council tax for you do. Southampton is one biggest crime city in Hampshire.
Don’t bother calling 999 the call handlers nowadays want to be Judge, jury & executioner!! You’ll get quizzed on the reasoning behind your call instead of concentrating on the crime at hand!! Just talk over us we only pay your wages!! Ffs, I’ve never ever encountered such incompetency!! Shameful
