Safe transport of nuclear fuel | Workers and Resources Soviet Republic #41

Ойындар

Dmitri drives a special truck around town containing just over $100k worth of nuclear fuel. If you stop him you can buy a barrel at a discount price. Also in today's episode, firing up the nuclear power plant without hooking up a cooling tower correctly. Safety bonus! Workers and Resources Soviet Republic gameplay with added fission.

    For the waste. It will have a negative value. You can pay to get rid of it at a border house or put it in a space for vehicles in a far away foreign corner. There it will cause radiation. But it will only spread so far. Which isn't that far really. And if you're lucky it'll catch fire eventually. I'm sure you've figured it out by now. But anyways. Containers with nuclear fuel (and waste) acts as vehicles with regards to transportation. I.e. to get them on a train, get a wagon that can load vehicles. Not all can. Great video as always. Thanks for keeping to this series.

    Any of those container type things like UF6/Nuclear Fuel/Nuclear Waste can be loaded onto any truck/rail car/ship that has the "can load stuff onto fladbed", after that you can move it to where ever you need it, waste is best send off to the border but it will sell for a negative value. Further more in order to load the containers onto a rail wagon you'd need one of those open storage looking things just for containers. btw. you need to connect a cooling tower to each side of the nuclear plant you can't connect them both to the same side.

    @29:53 Nuclear Waste can be "sold" to your neighbours at a negative value (so you pay them). Or you can store containers(with the waste) in a lot for vehicles (containers are vehicles) somewhere remote on your map (it will produce some localized radiation). I really am loving your series (this and other)! These series got me playing this game as well as a diversion from TPF(1). Keep up the good work and stay safe!

    Sell power to the Americans, then use the dollars to have them take the nuclear waste. Simple, efficient, and it has that off the books feel to it. For the future you could do something with chemicals to continue the oil production chain. Or maybe diversify the use of coal by doing steel, or whatever else it can also do.

    For the nuclear waste, you could build a warehouse ( or storage yard ), adding more as need arises, away from population and just store it. What could go wrong with that? Don't provide fire protection and if it burns, it's deposed of.

  • @robvanwalbeek
    @robvanwalbeek3 жыл бұрын

    @20:34: containers are also considered vehicles, so yes... FYI a drydock builds your own ships yourself (so you do not need to but them and can possibly sell ships to your neighbours) and you need the drydock serviced with the resources required. You can buy ships from a shipyard (didn't you also buy that about 30 episodes ago? A too small one?). Note that you need a larger shipyard for larger ships :-). Also check first if the water runs "off the map" at you neighbours' side. You need ships to be able to navigate on water to the map edge in order to sell the contents it is carrying.

    @3:22: same as trucks, train can olso carry containers (listed as vehicles in the cargo items). Use a road cargo station connected to you train cargo station to make the switch. In the latest official update (don't believe you're running that) there are container loaders and unloaders but haven't tested that functionality yet, but they might have changed the way the containers should be loaded off the truck and onto the train :-)

    1. Nuclear waste - check for any storage space that allows containers (or in older game version - vehicles) 2. You can put containers with nuclear fuel on any vehicle that can transport containers and cars - this includes ships. So you can sell shipfull of pure uranium to NATO. 3. To buy a ship you don't need to build it - you can just build a relevant type of dock and buy there, like you do with cars.

    Stick a road to the border and sell the nuclear fuel and oxide. Any train car, truck or ship that can take containers or load vehicles can carry nuclear goods. And yes sell power to as many places as you can. You have to sell the waste or store it or you can hit the little X next to the waste and make it go away like magic!

And as a bonus, We are about to get a schedule our week is now compleate.

    It was throughout the whole recording and kind of like when you turn the volume up a bit too high through a cheap pair of speakers and get buzzing. Your output volume was higher than normal. I watch these videos on a tablet with the volume at 100% and this was louder. Would that be gain? I'm clueless when it comes to sound engineering.
