Yeah. Idk how I feel about it because SafeLife has a pretty shady business practice. A lot of their armor were not NIJ tested for years and they made their stuff in China too. Despite all of this… their armor is oddly expensive even when compared to American made body armor of the same level.

Chinese made or not, they're hands down the best soft/flex armor on the market. And even the military will tell you that NIJ doesn't mean everything, it just gives a rough way to compare armor on paper for the top's that cant bother or don't have time to field test.

The system is innovative for sure, and the weight of the panels are sweet. But I can’t be the only one to wonder just how bad your going to be hurting after stopping that round lol that indent is serious. But I suppose that’s what the trade off is for having flexible lightweight plates. Great content my dude

the construction of the armor almost seems very similar to the construction of the dragon skin armor concept the military has a couple years back. definitely an awesome concept and it seems to work great. the only trick is not getting shot in the same spot twice but than again if you are doing that in a gun fight you definitely have bigger things to worry about.

The difference is the adhesive used to bond the tiles together. Dragon skin failed but somehow safelite has found a way to make the adhesive work. Cause remember the tiles need to take the hit but also the adhesive needs to hold up to a rifle round hitting it.

I wish they made a full body-type wrap around type armor instead of just individual plates that you can insert into a carrier. This type of armor is perfect as the apocalypse runs out of bullets and people begin switching to melee type weapons. I'd like to see how this armor stands up to a high powered compound bow or crossbow at close range.

Every armor has an expiration date. A body armor manufacturer has to make a cutoff at some point before it becomes a liability. Will it work after that? Probably so. Is it guaranteed? No.

Impressive product! Btw, new here: Are you an SOT to have select fire rifles or do you have a dealer/manufacturer who brings these out?

Love your work. Please begin every video with a call to action for viewers to comment in the Federal Register on the new ATF rules that are now open to public comment. I checked on May 23, and was disappointed that only 433 people have submitted comments. Now is the time to stand together, and let ALL our voices be heard. Overwhelm the comments section! Respectfully, JM.
