I have been on many safaris across southern and east Africa, and Mana is a special place that has a magnetic pull to it. Been there twice already and plan to return many times in the future!

We were blessed to visit Mana Pools in 2018 and it was as magical as you have described. The best food we had on our entire stay in Africa too.

Mana pools is the jewel in all the parks of Zimbabwe, which are so diverse in what they offer. Mana pools is like the wild inquisitive, yet genius kid. Hwange is the adult mature kid, where the presidential herd reside(elephant population of gigantic proportion). Matusadona/Chizarira, always provide the best black rhino residency, and Gonarezhou is part of the transfrontier park, incorporatinH 3 parks within 3 countries. However, Mana Pools stands apart from the other parks for its wilderness forests, diversity of flora and fauna, and unspoilt wildrrness. Welcome home guys to Mana Pools.

Marlon well said … Mana is my home land I have photographed there over many years .. my longest stay was near a month and even that is not long enough.. it definitely will steal your heart and you always come back again and again.. it is a place I call “ Heaven on earth “ ! It’s so very pristine and unique unlike any other national wildlife park in all of Africa. No place in Africa will offer a better landscape and that beautiful light is something unique again. It’s paradise beyond words . Great work on this blog . Much appreciated !

@@sirclassics_uk hi there I think you are directing your comment to Marlon ? Maybe just use the comments bar instead! But yes you are correct in what you say … Some South Africans abuse the Mana area and leave litter etc around. It’s often spoken about in the friends of mana group on fb .

@@rhodesia1578 Yeah ..thanks the comment was meant for Marlon, anyway are you saying that most of South Africans visit mana pools and leave litter everywhere?

  • @rhodesia1578

@@sirclassics_uk I would say some of them as it’s not entirely fair to say most or all , there are also some locals from Zimbabwe who are also contributing to litter . But it’s also people who over speed around the park creating unnecessary dust . Some drive off the designated roads which is not permitted , in doing so they ruin the natural landscape leaving vehicle tracks all over . I have personally witnessed this behaviour many times . So it’s just a matter of respecting the park and respect the rules . That includes the Zimbabwe people themselves .

@@rhodesia1578 Eyy...that's so bad I don't know why many people take advantage of Zimbabwe losen rules .I watched a lot of these animal documentaries and it's really sad.

November, 2020. I spent a week at Mana. I had the entire park to myself. I recall only seeing two other vehicles during the week, both were staff vehicles. No other tourists to be found. The most magical place on earth.
