If u already know lead actor park seo joon from other dramas u wouldn't be telling this😅.he is so cute and good looking guy with impeccable acting skills from what's wrong with secretary and fight for my way.

I don't know why some people didn't like the main lead because 'they don't have the chemistry' when all throughout the series i've been screaming at how subtle Saeroyi shows his feelings to Yiseo. I get that he's been saying he likes Soo-Ah but that just it. He actually wasn't in love to Soo-Ah in the first place. It was just pure crush. It was shown in the last episode when he said his mind and heart are all filled with Yiseo, and then he ask YiSeo if that's what she feels the "heart beating". That shows he actually didn't know what being in love is.

Nicely written. And notice how everytime Soo-Ah asked Saeroyi about his feeling, often times replied with he LIKES her. It happened quite a lot. But when Yiseo ask Saeroyi if he likes her (only one time throughout the entire episode), he simply replied with "No, I LOVE YOU". That's for me, is deep enough.

I hated Soo-ah from the very beginning haha. Yi-seo, on the other hand, I fell in love with instantly and even more as the story progressed. I find it cute how a sociopathic genius gets attracted to an "ex con" middle school dropout who has never fallen in love before. In one scene where Yi-seo told SRY that they weren't a good match, it's really ironic because they actually compliment each other like a puzzle. Yi-seo's face whenever she looks at SRY screams of, "Oh you will love me you just don't know it yet. But you sure will!" Haha. I soooo love them as much as I love the main couples of Goblin and CLOY. ❤️

I realize he was in love with her when I notice that only she was able to bring out his emotions. He would only "fight" with or "scream" to her. He was always so calm and collected with everyone except in certain moments with her. When someone can affect you so much emotionally... that's for sure a sign.

Same here. All my friends are married so they watched the world of the married. I don't want to watch dramas that I can't relate to. ECQ was ending so if I watched Itaewon class and didn't finish it, it would be fine, but I was so wrong. I stayed up until 3:30am this morning, cried, that i have a splitting headache right now

I love that she didn't deny her feelings, allow them to be hidden, or treated like something to be ashamed of, and wasn't cringey about it. She let him figure out that he'd loved her for a long time and wasn't petty about the time it took him to meet her emotionally.

Not a typical Kdrama, will make you wonder who will he choose.. Glad he choose someone who loves him wholeheartedly.. Someone who didn't leave his side and made him successful 😍

Yi-seo is the most lovable sociopath out there. And Saeroyi the most lovable chestnut. 😁❤️

I don't know why some people don't like yiseo. I love everything and everyone especially her in this drama ❤

I've watched over 30 K-dramas and I must say that this is one of my favorites. I loved the fact that you can see him slowly falling in love with her.... it might not be that obvious, but you can clearly see his love through some small gestures and I think that's beautiful -and realistic.

This is a lovely video! I think he was in falling in love with her from the time he shared a bit of his life at the bar and when she kissed him on the floor. He woke up in the hospital with a start and said out loud "that was a dangerous dream". The use of the word 'dangerous' is interesting, as opposed to 'horrible or terrible'. I think unconsciously he was already attracted to her then but he refused to allow it to take shape at all because it was dangerous to do so (for him); and therefore shut it down completely. But it had started as far back as that.

@@meribenimurry7077 also because she was young back thn nd there was the age gap, he saw her as a troublemaker he had to take care of, he wanted to protect her even though she wasnt nice to him at first nd he worried but didnt want to admit that was a particular feeling he had for her even tho he was rightous he never expressed much emotionally to others but with her he would look at her like something he can not break nd let her touch him and conduce him, when he rejected her i think he knew it wasnt because he could not like her but because he believed he wouldnt be able to love nd be loved by someone that can see him for what he is, he was scared his fear was not to be as good as on her mind because he would care nd would lose his main focus he didnt want to allow tha.. like even tho he always had soo ah nd this kid like first love he barely took actions, he wasnt always thinking about her or anything, but he would get in between yi seo troubles all the time nd wonder, as much as he acted like he is there to help anyone needing help he knew she wasnt a vulnerable one yet he stayed he saw yi seo being different than him nd doing things her way nd he would want to see the best of her nd to let her be herself at the same time, truly if yi seo wasnt so strong minded he may have never realized

100% agree with you. "Dangerous" because she was very young and he think he didn't deserve her. As Hyun Ni told Yi Seo, Saeroyi is an old-fashioned virgin and naive when it comes to romantic feeling

I knew he loved her from the moment he touched his hair and just slowly brushed down with his face starring at the floor. That’s when I knew.

The biggest difference between Soo Ah and Yi Seo: There is a scene where Yi Seo's mother is upset because she thinks Yi Seo is doing the biggest mistake of her life by choosing to give up her most certain brilliant future if she goes to university, all because she is choosing to pursue Saeroyi/love. She replies to her mother: I can have both. I am this competent. This is literally what Soo Ah couldn't do it for a variety of reasons: she wasn't strong enough to stay by Saeroyi's side on his lowest, most challenging parts. She wasn't strong enough to stand up for principles risking the ire of the powerful. She didn't really believe in Saeroyi's. Both were realistic compared to Saeroyi's idealism but while Soo Ah gave up before even trying, Yi Seo , in her compentent way, found a way for Saeroyi to keep both his idealism and principles and get things done. She achieved both: she didn't have to choose between love and success.

Soo Ah saw Saeyori suffer with her own eyes, knew him for years but still didn't help him even a little bit (despite having a successful career and everything). Yi seo came, heard about his suffering, instantly decided to stand by his side no matter what (She dropped out of her college). Still don't get why people seem to prefer Soo Ah over Yi Seo.

@@ummhi8206 My feeling is that it has all to do with the actress looks. Soo Ah is more of the standard beauty of female lead. She is the idea of gorgeous among the two. She also has the 'sweet angelical' face so viewers just have a hard time seeing her as a selfish or at least anything less than the rightful deserving princess that should get the prince in the end. I saw this comment several times... that Soo Ha is so much beautiful than YiSeo so how come she is not the lead. If Soo Ha actress was anything more ordinary looking and nothing else was different, I bet more viewers wouldn't see her as so deserving of being the main lead who gets the guy in the end. Another reason is the 'first ship' resistance. We all have this thing that as soon as we see a ship being set up in the first episodes of a show, we already make in our heads how the show will eventually have them as endgame and instinctively we invest on the couple.... it's then hard to give up on the show and endgame we had already planned for them. That's also why this show is actually quite good because it takes a trope of 'first love is the endgame' and turns upside down. It's weird the resistance because in real life, most of us just outgrow first crush and fall in love for real with people we get to meet later. That's what happened to Saeyori.

These videos always miss you the scene where Soo Ah and Saeroyi are having drinks and she asks him if he still likes her. I think that's when he realised he was in love with Yi Seo. The acting in that scene is a so understated yet so poignant. Its truly a joy to watch!

Same after watching this I was thinking should I just people that I love them from now on because I’m a pretty sincere person and I felt like I shouldn’t be afraid of loving someone because of her.

In the last episode Soo Ah said " You fool, everyone knew..but you" ( that he likes Yi Seo)". I kind of didn't like that part...because I feel that he DID always know his feelings for Yi Seo and that he suppressed them..because he felt like he was betraying Soo Ah ( even though they weren't actually dating)..A little later on he also felt like he would be betraying Guen Soo who likes Yi Seo ( which Sae Ro Yi basically said.. when they were sitting on the bench)!! That's my opinion anyway.

I agree with you. I think he had all these reasons and excuses in his head that he wasn’t good for her and just denied to himself but he was closer to her than Soo Ah. Soo Ah didn’t do anything to help him.... she helped her self and was waiting for him to “get rich”. I took this as code to finish his vendetta. But never did anything but whine that he wasn’t done. I’m very happy with how it ended

Yes, its that good.. I love CLOY but my workmates told me IC is better so I told them no way! And then I watched it for 2 days straight before lockdown.. I couldn't say it is better from CLOY coz they have totally different story lines that captured my interest. Both kdramas are great to watch for. All the casts are great in acting.

BrightCityKids for me , I like CLOY better than IC . Well maybe because i prefer romance genre more but still both drama amazed me in their own story line 😍

This is my first kdrama and this kdrama is pure masterpiece ❤️

From the beginning Saeroyi loved Yiseo. He was constantly touching her...pulling her close to him, wrapping his arms around her, patting her head, just physically demonstrating his feelings...after all, love is a verb, right? I'm with Yiseo...I'm gonna believe his actions more than his words of denial! I believe Soo-Ah was more a friend than a lover & Saeroyi wanted to be faithful to her. Soo-Ah loved him but, she wasn't able to express it...it's just words in your mind if you don't show it physically. She relied too much on their shared past to keep it going. Not enough! Besides, Saeroyi & Yiseo were better together...both were willing to risk everything for their dreams & to live outrageously. Yiseo broke societal barriers to live authentically & be true to herself...& to speak out. The world won't give you everything...you have to ask for it. And sometimes you must insist!! Great film...it had everything about life!!

I’ve watched Itaewon Class 3 times...it’s still one of the best in 2020.

He may not have realized it but I feel like he's been inlove wt her but couldn't realize it sooner. When yiseo confessed, he was very hesitant. And even before she confessed, he was always caring to her. Yes, he had a long time crush for SooAh it's not love, coz if it is than he wouldn't dare dump SooAh after yiseo confessed. Remember ep 12? He was very subtle wt his moves. He's very awkward to Yiseo ♥ Yieeeeee.

I'm glad he chose to love and accept Yi-Seo, it's hard to watch him with Soo-Ah after all the hardship his had to go through and Soo-Ah never once has empathy towards Saero-yi. Yi-Seo even cried for him, while always staying by his side and always trying to protect him.

The way she want him to let her hair is so cute😍

I rewatched it for like 10 times alreadyyy dang

He doesn't need to say how he feels, but it shows everything in his eyes. I hope one day that someone would also look at me the way he does.

I can't help but fall in love in the chemistry of these two again.💓

2:24 my fav moment, the way she just slips her 'i love yous' along is just adorable... I didn't get the chemistry between Sooah and Royi cuz they hardly have any conversation at all before he decides he likes her and his crush was young. Yiseo on the other hand is love... there were so many moments that made me go 'marry her, screw sooah, I don't like her one bit'... Yiseo isn't a likeable character until you see her ferocious need to protect Royi and I think he needed someone with that unshakeable faith in him in his corner and I'm stupid glad they end up together...

I cant move on from this drama

This drama was a rollercoaster ride of everything. It changed the way I look at life.

I love all of park seo jun projects.. Each of them diffee from another, and unique in their own way.. And i love him as an actor so much

Park Seo Joon has a lot of great dramas but I think this one is his absolute best! Definitely one of my favs next to She Was Pretty!

Then he started to love her, but then he heard that Yi Seo promised to be with Gun Wo if he bcomes the leader of Jangga and that's why he refused Yi Seo at the time and that was the thing he regrets a lot. His love to Yi Seo grows bigger as time goes by but he tried to hold on since he doesnt want to betray Gun Wo

Do you think that GW asked his question because he knew the type of person SRY was? He knew that SRY would see liking YS as betraying GW, which is why he made those statements outside of the hospital(even if he had feelings, he shouldn’t do anything about it because one of his friends liked her). I think that is also partially why he brought up GW outside of the bar. SRY was taking GW’s feelings into account with how he was dealing with the situation.

After i watched IC I watch what's wrong with secretary Kim even there so much intimate scene on that but the way he look at the girls totally different, yooo he definitely has feeling for kim dami

I remembered, when the drama was ongoing, I used to screenshot every moment that they have togother. I don't regret watching this drama out of the blue

If you listen to the lyrics of sweet night you’ll understand exactly how SRY felt. He had feelings for her for a long time but never knew it. He also began to realize those feelings when she said “you usually pat my hair” he couldn’t do it because he realized his feelings. Although I believe when it became obvious to EVERYONE that he had feelings for her, was when he yelled at her in front of Soo-ah and Soo-ah even said “I didn’t know you were emotional like that” (which btw is so annoying, everyone is emotional soo-ah ugh) lol anyway, I digress. This man has been in love for a while but he lived by principles not feelings which is why he says to yi-seo “is this what you felt?” He didn’t realize what he was feeling was love. But when Soo-ah asked him to say he liked her, he couldn’t.

How did you get that he didn’t pat her hair because he realized his feelings. I saw that as him not even realizing that he had been doing it before and when she pointed it out, he wasn’t sure if he should do it anymore as a way to avoid reinforcing her unwanted feelings. Then he wasn’t sure how to respond, so he just dropped it. Just like in the scene where YS told SRY that he had feelings for her, he wasn’t sure what to say, so he turned and left.

Sheila...if you want to see another EPIC asian drama, watch "Mr. Sunshine". It is an epic, beautiful-beautiful love story with amazing cinematography and full of history!! It has more episodes than your average Korean drama though...which is usually around 16 episodes. If you want to start off with a popular drama that's not quite as grand..but, has a really sweet love story, you should try "The Descents of the sun" Another great starter is "Goblin". Just a few suggestions. All of them are on dramacool.movie and some on Netflix.🙂

I recommend you watch "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" (the kissing scenes alone are incredibly moving and get to you in every way!!), "Something In The Rain" & "One Spring Night." This is just a starter list. Let us know what you think! Enjoy! And don't forget the OST for each...great music!!

I am new in k dramas and glad I stumbled this series. Watched it on in Nov and been watching it everyday. Bts and repeated some episodes everyday. Couldn't believe myself

The fact that she risked her entire life a career even her relationship with her mother, just so she could help him achieve his dream. Even over the years she loved him and made everything he ever needed or wanted happen. She stood by him even when he told her to leave and not love him because he would never think of her as a women 😂. Ha and he even had the audacity to like that over women when she didn't support him at all and even sometimes helped bring him down, I get it was her job but come on seriously. Anyway shes the best female lead I've seen besides it's okay not to be okay 👌🏻😜. Love her and deserves everything she worked for and I'm glad he finally saw that he loved her to ❤️👍. Behind every great man is a even better woman. And yes I will watch this again for the 4th time 😁. I just realised how long this is. You read it all might aswell like it 😂

Highly recommend , even my dad was able to enjoy 7 full episodes he especially liked yi-seo his words " she's something else " and he doesn't like kdrams or shows he has to read subtitles .

I subscribed to Netflix because of King Eternal........but I have to say that this drama is making me regret not getting it sooner. An all around great drama ❤️

The Witch with Kim Da Mi is now on Netflix too. You should watch it if you haven't seen it already.

@ 1:58, that look on Saeroyi's face when Yi Seo was shopping in his office, I think that look was full of love and adoration when he looked at her. I asked my husband about that face, he disagree with me, he said Saeroyi looked puzzled when he was looking at Yi Seo. What do you guys think ? Does anyone think that that look on Saeroyi's face was full of love ?

It's a drama and they are exceptional actors.

One of the best k drama i've ever watched.....

I love IC. I can't move on from it. Great actors, they are really in character. I could really feel the emotions. But whats really get into me aside from developing feelings from the lead is chairman Jang ang Saeroyi face off. Ugh! Im on my replay viewing.

Sae-roy fell in love with Yi-seo earlier. He just didn’t realize that. And his personality (faithfulness to his friends ) makes him think it’s betrayal to Soo-ah and Geon-soo. In the original webtoon, he only had a crush on Soo-ah back in high school, nothing more. It’s Soo-ah and Geon-soo who knew very early that Sae-roy likes Yi-seo but tried to set road blocks between Sae-roy and Yi-seo.

Itaewon Class is an amazing beautiful drama! Loved the story, the characters diversity and the OST is superb. Is one of the few dramas I would gladly watch again.

One of the best dramas so far, I like the concept of they made it so realistic.I'm starting to ship them together.

At first, I got bored after I watched the first ep. But now, after watching some good k dramas I got bored again coz Idunno what should I watch anymore. Until suddenly, I remember what my cousin recommended to me. And there I watch it. And now I dunno how to move on, in this kind of k drama

When the Halloween revelers died in the crush at an Itaewon alley this past Halloween, I felt like I had lost my friends so I had to watch Itaewon Class again, and sure enough, there is Sae Ro-Yi getting off the train on Halloween, jammed among celebrants. My heart went out to all those who were lost.

I swear cant move on since yesterday frm this drama...is best of 2020 ...it motivates me, make me laugh, giggle, tense, cry, happy and sad .... amazing storyline and whole cast worked upto mark even villain seems genuinely good🤩😆....osts and psj and kdm chemistry too

This drama was really something. I watched it twice back to back. Couldn't just get over it. The way everything was portrayed.. and this video is so sweet ❤️ 👍🏻👍🏻

July 2021 Stopped watching Itaewon Class last year because of the hardships in Ep 1 until all these fmv’s started feeding in YT! Now rewatching the drama ❣️ and every Saeroyi and Ye Seo fmv that comes along 👌 Would have missed a masterpiece ❤️

This couple reminds me so much of Taek and DukSeon of Reply 1988. It's not about the big romantic cliche moments, it's about the smallest, sweetest and straightforward gestures that will win over one's love. Definitely one of my most fave k-drama.
