I know what you mean about hard water Helen, we used to live in Basingstoke reputedly the hardest water in the country. We moved to Somerset where they tried telling us it was hard, I’ve yet to have to descale the kettle in 10 years! Thanks as always for your efforts to keep us entertained

Hi Helen and Dave, love watching your videos. We live in Lincolnshire so know what you mean about the water. I use equal amounts of water and distilled white vinegar, (about 30p in Tesco), boil it up in the kettle, leave for a few hours or overnight and rinse well after. Limescale disappears and a lot cheaper than using branded products.

Belated birthday wishes Dave, we’re holidaying in your neck of the woods , 1st time touring and we’re stopping at Dower House Thetford, and then onto Two Mills North Walsham site on Sunday - both chosen after watching your reviews. Not disappointed - Dower House is so peaceful, the birdsong is amazing, even saw a monkjack coming out from the woods, and our pitch is massive. Good shout, looking forward to the part of our travels to the next site….keep the reviews coming, we enjoy watching them 👍

It doesn’t sound like you have dedicated wiring fitted, either the genuine Kia kit or vehicle specific. Plus the car has to be coded so the car recognises when the caravan is plugged in and activates Kia’s Trailer Stability Assist which works in conjunction with the cars Electronic Stability Control. It would also deactivate the rear parking sensors but keep the front sensors active, plus make changes to other electronics on the car depending on options fitted. Apologies for being my usual techy self 😵‍💫 😂

You lost me just after the PS 😂 I’m not techy but you are the second person that has mentioned the wiring to me on this Vlog. I don’t really understand it to be honest. Hello there, you’re not the first to ask this but there is a good reason and that is, a lot of the sites we visit can have little or no phone signal and the chances of Helen having any charge on her phone are very slim. She has a tendency to let it run out of charge and then stick it in her bag!!! So method in my madness 😊👍👍 Thanks for watching.

Why couldn't you just use your mobile phones to manoeuvre the caravan. You could have saved the money for the walkie talkies. It is not illegal either, you are on private land

Next time you get a tow bar go with vehicle specific wiring not universal - you don’t get that beep from the parking sensors, other benefits too depending on car.
