What shows more range than being moody and how her character has grown over time. I don’t agree on Stranger things she’s been able to show a range of different emotions as an character and it has helped her career immensely and also lol bro it’s only one more season it’s not all her life. It’s like you’ve only watched season one. We’ve seen her now be happy, be in love, be sad, be depressed, be angry, afraid she’s going to die, we’ve seen her fight, be in fear, and unable to fight. We’ve literally seen all those forms of her through 3 seasons now of Stranger Things they never have her just being ONE WAY the entire series

Nothing about her seems fake or forced. Very humble and down to earth with such simple style. That's rare for a young celebrity as popular as she is.

This young woman is SO multi-faceted, can't wait to see how her career unfolds. Her humility & maturity are refreshing, especially in younger performers.

Hm, Sadie, not just an great actor, but a down to Earth person who radiates beauty from inside. No extreme makeup, no harsh allure, just pure herself. At least it's how I see. Rare gem in this world.

I just saw The Whale and was very impressed with her performance. In my opinion she was just as phenomenal as Brendan.

I hope we get to hear Sadie sing again in the near future. Her voice is amazing but I understand she’s shy about it

What an absolutely delightful actor! Huge kudos to Sadie, her supportive family and friends that keep her grounded, humble and articulate. Can we just bubble wrap this young talented individual because her talent comes very rarely. Such a breath of fresh air to see a 20 year-old who presents herself with such authenticity . Sadie Sink... The kind of person who has an aura that when you have a bad day and seeing her smile just make the clouds go away anda ray of sunshine just appear magically.

Sadie has amazing vocals and I've always wanted for her to showcase that more but her saying she feels so nervous with singing we probably won't see more of it 😭😭

I get it! Saw the music video and it felt like autumn was a person (or a fairy!) Basically she brings everything to life!

Love how calming and peaceful the interviewer was a lot of actors get bombarded with interviews and I imagine it’s really stressful for them but she seemed really comfortable and it’s great to see her feeling in a safe space :) her hair looks so pretty in a plat also and I’m really happy we’re finally talking about her singing! She’s so amazing at it and then no one sees it but finally!! Congrats sadie you deserve everything ❤️💞 Side note I am also really appreciative that this interviewer treated sadie like a normal person bc everyone treats actors like they’re not normal people and it makes them uncomfortable at times and I just appreciate making her feel okay :)

She exhales shine and light from inside out, I could listen to her talk for hours! Also great vibe by the interviewer.

Although clearly being a little shy, she tries her best to keep her posture and to treat everyone with such kindness. I also love how she doesn't go out there telling every interviewer about her personal life, she's that kind of actress who might very well be in a relationship right now and we will never now it, unless she wants us to. And, of course, she rarely - if ever - get involved in controversial issues or social/political opinions and that's my favorite thing about her.

@@morbidmanmusic the average movie goer? Look at Aronofsky's past works and how much they made at the box office. I'm not using that as a judgment of their quality or success, but how many people watch his movies in theaters. It's nowhere compared to blockbusters like Marvel movies, Bond movies, Star Wars, etc. Some do quite well like Black Swan and Noah, but I guarantee you that The Whale won't be anywhere near that. It simply doesn't appeal to the "mainstream people".

The only reason I think Sadie won't get nominated in Oscar is because of her age, which is kind of stupid for me especially when some critics would prefer other artists who has been in the industry much longer than her. Others even despise her acting as Ellie for being such a mean character. Like what does not click with these guys? The character was written that way and Sadie did tremendously great portraying Ellie. If you hated her that much then that means she did her job well. I hope Sadie gets more exposure with films like this.. she has great acting chops and she will be an even brighter star in the next years to come.
