here imo how the cast sing: sadie: best at hitting high notes caleb: his voice is that smooth type gaten: can hit riff and runs pretty well and can hit high notes too millie: her voice is more of a thick type finn: his voice is raspy and is pretty good for rock stuff they all can sing, it all comes down to style.

I think it’s because they’re taught to play up their facials and bump their volume up for the stage. You have to be able to reach an entire audience with your volume meanwhile with regular acting it’s not that big of an issue because the audio is fixed to where they can be heard easily. Plus you can’t always guarantee you’ll be micced for a performance or your mic may have technical errors, so there’s that too.

honestly i love that a lot of the stranger things kids can sing in some way. like gaten and finn are in bands, sadie, caleb, and gaten were on broadway, and millie can definitely sing (even if she technically hasn’t done it professionally) sadie’s voice really shows she was on broadway. it has a beautiful and specific tone that a lot of broadway actresses have. and mills sounds more like a pop singer. millie and sadie have very different voices and they are both amazing in their own way and i’m pretty proud myself.

Bea Corley I think it’s cause Sadie is more experienced. Also I do agree with you but I like both of them. But honestly Sadie needs more recognition!! She has some but she deserves as much as Millie and the other kids have mainly Millie. I think Millie was just such a great actress that now all the other girl actors that might join will always be below her. I think that’s a little unfair because she is A great actress too! But I’m glad Sadie and Millie are good friends they make really good friends. And I think the seal singing or something is just her British accent kicking in while she sings.

She has EXCELLENT pitch control. She definitely has a gift! A lot of kids cannot hold a pitch at that age/ fix their pitch while singing. Wow

I can’t be the only one who thinks Sadie could have a career in singing not just acting! I mean her voice is absolutely beautiful! It has been from the start, and she had such an amazing start with Broadway that’s it’s actually unbelievable we haven’t seen her act in more things. Truly she’s art! She’s stunning, her acting skills are the best I’ve seen, her voice is extremely angelic and something you’d wanna listen to, what’s not to like about Sadie!

I don't get why people are always comparing her to Millie, like personality and everything, they are completely different people who happened to get cast for the same show and became friends

You should definitely give it a go! There’s plenty of well known actors who have just jumped into the business and succeeded. I mean, you have to start somewhere and auditioning itself is really really good experience!

ilickcatsforaliving i’m not saying don’t let people have opinions, no not at all. i’m saying that a lot of people are basically trash talking millie which is rlly upsetting and ofc you can think one is better than the other but in the end they’re both good at what they do and again there’s like no point in comparing them esp since they’re young teenage girls. i def wouldn’t want to be compared to someone else 24/7 and being told i wasn’t as good as someone else. people are treating it as if sadie and millie are competing as well.

ilickcatsforaliving you can raise and praise sadie without putting down millie. it’s toxic asf to bring yourself up by putting other people down and people r basically doing that with sadie and millie.

do not compare sadie with millie, because sadie has been on broadway and obviously has vocal technique since she has been taught to sing, instead millie has not had singing class, however she sings beautiful🙃🤗
