I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.

As a woman, this is the relationship and marriage you dream of. As a mother, this is what you pray for your children to become, loving, caring, patient, understanding, respectful, but most of all that love for God in their lives, always putting him first, and seeing life through his eyes. Congratulations to you both. Congratulations to your parents as well. You guys did a beautiful job in raising your children.

THEY EXIST WHEN YOU (& MAYBE PARENTS TOO) HAVE BEEN PRAYING TO GOD FOR THE RIGHT SPOUSE, and when you guard your heart by honoring God with your body (no sex before marriage) and wait (not always easy) then it can exist. I know, my first marriage was very hard and we ended up divorced (I didn't know that honoring God with my body was important- it is valuing yourself & doing things God's way). The second time I did it God's way, and though we've had some challenges- he loves me, and values me & I love him and value him and our lives are becoming what we truly desire them to be. GOD (the GOD whose son is Jesus) is faithful, loving, quick to forgive, he blesses those that are his own. As long as we walk in love the blessings continue to flow in our lives. If that is something you desire just call out to him right now and ask him to reveal himself to you in a way that you will know it is him and he is real!! May GOD bless you Maya!!!

I was praying tonight after being called naive by many people for being hopeful… for “seeing the good too much in people” for believing true love is unconditional and trying my best to act in that in my daily walk… and I was sad as a single woman I closed my eyes and prayed that God could show me someone real who embodied the true love God wants for us. And this thumbnail was the first thing I saw. Thank you for following Him and sharing your love. I know it’s hard to be a Christian in a world full of hurt.
