Pertaining to Jin Rui's question near the end of Q+A (before the tea break), perhaps the word daimon might be a word equivalent to deity? It's from the ancient greek conceptualisation of a tutelary spirit. "The Ancient Greek: δαίμων, pronounced daimon or daemon (meaning "god", "godlike", "power", "fate"), originally referred to a lesser deity or guiding spirit such as the daimons of ancient Greek religion and mythology and of later Hellenistic religion and philosophy. The word is derived from Proto-Indo-European daimon "provider, divider (of fortunes or destinies)," from the root *da- "to divide". Daimons were possibly seen as the souls of men of the golden age acting as tutelary deities, according to entry δαίμων at Liddell & Scott." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimon Thank you Rinpoche for your precious teaching, and for gathering such beautiful souls around you.
