Most of our parents are at least 35+ they had to go to school they liked it they didnt have tech they didnt have to worry about people talking bad about them idk its so much different from then and now and they wonder what happened to the little boys and girls who used to be down to go anywhere now if i step out of my room its always an argument. something that’s bugging me is the fact i fell in love with someone.. and they completely ignore me. We used to talk everyday, they stayed up with me when i couldn’t sleep, we always goofed around. then they just stopped. It’s been over 4 months since it started and i just can’t get over it. For some reason this song makes me think about an old friend of mine. We’ve known each other since we were both 4 years old. I never saw her as anything more than a sister tbh. When I started 8th grade I had moved across the country(Chicago to Texas), ever since then we kinda grew apart since I could only be up there like 3 weeks out of the year. We were really close when I lived near her but everything changed. Thinking back on it now we were always super happy hanging out together, but over the years I’ve become a completely different person. She has aswell, but the constant is we are both lost as fuck with parents who only care about our grades. We are both in college at the moment and we only really talk like every 4 months. I know a bit about her mental health but I think that when she told me I kinda pushed her away by bringing up all my problems too. It sucks that it happened cause she means a lot to me, I want the best for her and I hope she wants the best for me too. If you’re looking for something to take from this comment here it is. Life happens and it sucks, if you’re depressed or feeling hopeless just remember that a new day you can wake up to is another day that you can try and improve your situation. Nothing will come easy in life, it’s not a fun system to operate under but it’s what we have. So we should cherish the short amount of time we have here, don’t die before your time.
