Yes indeed, same here. Everytime I listen 2 this song, I feel like I'm in another world.

This song is about combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). There are many veterans that tell the same story, forever haunted by the visions of their encounters in war or, as in this case, haunted by the vision of the eyes of the person they shot. The story is clear to all that suffer from this injury, that will always suffer from it. Some people are not affected by such things, others are permantly affected.

Such loneliness and desolation within a beautiful song.

This song resonates deeply in my soul. So much suffering in my life. Sade put in this song what words could never adequately express. I love you, Sade.

As a lover of coloured skin, just separated from one, a Sade lover, and a Veteran, this is a beautiful but cutting song that brings tears to my eyes, and iam not a crier.

This song is very magical. It makes me cry sometimes.

Every time I hear this song I feel like I'm in a romance movie with a sad ending.

Sade speaks about it during one of her live shows. chsnged my perspective one the song. love it even more. peace
