No, unfortunately my Saddlebred password away 20 years ago. I still miss him so much to this day. We were so bonded, it was like we were one and the same. No fear, do anything attitudes. Big heartedness. I just couldn't bring myself to get another one, I felt like I was being a traitor. Ugh, still brings me to tears. 😭

That is wonderful that you do that for your horses. I used to show saddlebreds years ago and nobody ever did that. They stayed in the barn all year round. That is why I changed breeds. I still love saddlebreds. Always will. I notice that the industry is getting more caring of their horses. That's great.

no saddlebreds are not abused tennessee walking horses do often get abused (not always) but saddlebreds are bred to move that way and as foals move the same way yes some horses may be abused but that happens in any discipline and i have never seen abuse at any of the saddleseat barns i have been to and saddlebreds are treated so well i love my saddlebred and would never treat him badly
