Other videos and fitters say that a 'flat' saddle with an upswept tail, you should level the front half of the saddle and/or level the rails. Have been struggling to figure out tilt on a Giant Approach. If I use your method, the nose is tilted way up, lots of perineum pressure. If I level the front half, I feel like I'm sitting on the nose of the saddle and need to slide it forward to feel stable. Your thoughts?

In that case, your option would be to simply play with an angle somewhere in between the two until you find a sweet spot. Otherwise, if it’s becoming a problem, I would just say ditch the saddle and go grab a selle smp. Dynamic at 2.0-3.0 nose down

Spot on! Thomson seatpost 2 bolt is my personal favorite. Assuming the bike doesn’t have a silly proprietary post - yuck. 🤮

Ridden a few mm down on the front for at least a decade. What a game changer on comfort. But hard to get it just right and not be slipping off the saddle.

Great video, for my saddle, a Selle Italia SLR Boost using that method makes it a bit nose up. Would you adjust to make it negative degrees, or would you measure the angle from a different point?

I would recommend keeping it as is and ride it. Then nose down to feel

Never ride with nose up. Level, or slightly down is much better.

Im a female rider who gets pain on pubic symphysis bone while riding aero. Any recommendations for a Triathlon specific saddle that doesn’t smash the lady parts?

Just sent you an email. I am thinking about trying the Bisaddle because of its adjustability.

This is a new saddle to me. Did see one customer who told me they like it a tad nose down - around 1.0 nose down. I would recommend setting level and go 0.5 nose down increments from there

I don’t think anyone running the current road racing meta (slammed forward saddle, somewhat nose down) will pass the balance test. As someone with extreme anterior pelvic rotation who spends all day in a flat-back riding position in breakaways, a level saddle would squash my genitals.
