Even after Ember said those nasty things to Wade, the love between Ember and Wade is still very strong. This is the main reason why Elemental is my favorite film of 2023 surpassing Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken and The Bad Guys.

Ember never meant anything nasty she said. After Wade gave his speech, Ember did wanna love him, but he tried to make it seem like she didn't so she wouldn't make herself look bad.
I’m so proud of her for being honest about her true feelings about herself.
I cried at the part where Ember thought Wade died when he evaporated
