So, I just came across this track this afternoon after work and I listened to it while I was showering. I write science fiction in my spare time and I'm also developing a storyline for a science fiction show that I'm hoping to market to one of the streaming services. I get ideas running through my head like nobody's business. The tempo of this cadence brought flashes of these images to mind and just gave me the idea for a new cyberpunk background setting. I'm gonna call it Inside/Out. Basically, the year is 2894. About 700 years past, humanity sent out some slow generation colonizer ships. One came in contact with a digital consciousness and ended up fighting a war in the VR vault the hibernating crew were were hooked into for the trip. Digitally, the war lasted 27,009 years, with virtual generations living and dying over the course of the war. It ended with the two types of minds merging digitally into a form of symbiosis, becoming a new entity called the Consensus. In real time, the course of this war took a total of 14 minutes. The Consensus cannibalized the ship and retrofitted it with new technical knowledge it possessed back when it was the separate digital species and headed back to Earth. The trip back home was MUCH quicker and, once there, the ship shot several automated probes into the surface, which quickly burrowed deep underground, used the mineral resources surrounding them and built an enclave containing a virtual digital universe, called the Inside. And there they sat. The civilization Inside gave birth to wondrous new innovations that would, from time to time, wirelessly leak out to the nations of Earth, known as the Outside. The shock of these seemingly magical technological gifts had both positive and negative effects on Outside society. Technology provided everything a person needed at a whim, but eventually, without needed goals to strive for, people became aimless and atrocities became rampant as individuals took up dark lifestyles for lack of anything better to do. This one Inside scientist successfully petitions the Consensus for the availability to organically print a body for use on the Outside, one designed with a lifespan of 12,000 Outside years in the event the scientist needs to investigate circumstances among the planets of the Myriad, the host of 14,000 different worlds inhabited by the original digital consciousness on the Outside. The Outsiders on Earth who meet up with the scientist don't know what to make of this person. There've been rumors before of strangers appearing seemingly from nowhere and they always seem to bring about upheaval of some kind... This all came to mind in about 20 minutes worth of showering as a result of listening to the forlorn moodiness of this track.

The kind of hug where your breath syncs with the other person’s, and you feel like the only two people in the world. 89. Singing off key with your best friends. 90. Road trips. 91. Spontaneous adventures. 92. The feeling of sand beneath your toes. 93. The feeling when the first ocean wave rolls up and envelops your toes and ankles and knees. 94. Thunderstorms. 95.
