This reminds me of that one part on Philza's stream where he said that slimes aren't actually hostile mobs. They just wanted a "hug" but since their size is too big, it hurts the player when they come in contact. It melts my heart, i's just so cute

Mod idea: Creepers reproduce by explosions. Possibility 1: when a creeper explodes, it spawns a number of baby creepers who flee. They don't explode and attempt to run and hide. They will later grow up into full creepers if you don't kill them. More may spawn or they may grow faster if they kill other mobs or players in the explosion (effectively serving as fertilizer/food for the babies). Possibility 2: The explosion caused a status effect of "creeper spores" which increases creeper spawn rates near the player and/or causes baby creeper spawns when the mob/player dies.
