Grew up here from late 50's left in '75,miss it a lot.Rode bmx bikes that we built from 26 th st to old sac,tower bridge and back to 58 th to Govenors mansion,played in capital park,cruised downtown at night with friends in hotrods crazy motorcycles.Delivered papers for the Bee and the Union.Sorry reminising a little lol.Thanks for memories!

Hi Zen Ride, I still live in Sacramento, CA. My mother move me here in 1974. I bough and paid off my house so I can manage to stay in Sacramento, It all start from young age each step in life journey and life will be wonderful if one conduct one life in a special way I was born beyond poor but that did not stop me from my dreams. I love this video I truly am glad I came to Sacramento, CA. thank you, for this video. I hope life is turning out the way you want it to.

Nice tour the city looked clean from what I could tell. What struck me strange I didn't once see a Light Rail train or a bus on one of its routes.

Easily one of the most underrated major cities/metro's in the united states,Sac has alot of positive attributes. #hometownproud

Ah, Jan 1st before the rona...

Don't be fooled by the pretty pictures, Sacramento is a terrible place to try drive about. The downtown, the core, is hostel to the car by the design of the city "fathers" who really hate their "children who have cars. It is also hostel to sunshine and bright views as it is so walled in. Out in the "roaring 40's" things are a bit brighter but the street are narrow and very poorly maintained. Nice pictures but lack truth.
