Sachin was indeed mentally tough and patient. And that was needed to break the shackles of Australian cricketers on their home ground. That's when the Australians realized what they had started to face. Imagine Sachin scored 241 without playing a cover drive in the 3rd test and boy it's not a cup of cake to do that but Sachin had something to prove and he did just that

I am of 85 years and yet vividly remember Hanif's visit to Delhi perhaps in year 1952, and played againdt Lala Amarnath's team Hanif Md.'s ever remained my favourite, for his humility and as a great batsman I learn that his brothers also later became equally great pakistani test Players in cricket

That says everything one needs to know about the man. Everyone loves Inzy and it's a genuine reason. His warmth and simplicity. If Tendulkar was a genius, so was Inzy bhai.
